A industrial design in Spain is the appearance of the whole or part of a product resulting from the features of, in particular, the lines, contours, colors, shape, texture or materials of the product itself or its ornamentation.
Product is defined as any industrial or handicraft, among which are:
- The parts intended to be assembled into a complex product (product composed of multiple components which can be replaced permitting disassembly and assembly of the product)
- The packaging.
